Pressure Cooker Beef and Broccoli


This meal is ready with rice in about 30 minutes total.  Serve it up with some fresh oranges and have an easy tasty meal in a snap.

  • 1 small onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1.5 pounds thinly sliced steak
  • 3 tbs sesame oil
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ¾ cup beef broth
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1 T. beef broth concentrate
  • Fresh or frozen Broccoli
  •  1 tbs cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water 
  • 1/2 T. red pepper flakes (optional)
Place oils in pressure cooker and put on saute setting.  Add beef, onions, and garlic.  Cook about 10 minutes.  Add broth, broth concentrate, soy sauce and brown sugar.   Cook at high pressure for 10 minutes then let it do a natural release.. heat broccoli and stir in.  Mix cornstarch with water and add in, putting back on saute to thicken.   Serve over cooked rice.   If you want to spice it up a bit add red pepper flakes.
