Since the great pasta making party, I have been meaning to post a few sauces to go with some wonderful pasta. So here is a yummy alfredo sauce to use with any pasta you may be cooking up!~
1/2 c. butter
2 c. cream (you can use 1/2 and 1/2 to lighten the recipe)
1/8 t. garlic powder
1/8 t. pepper
dash nutmeg
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Add the cream, garlic powder, pepper and nutmeg. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add the Parmesan cheese when the sauce has reached desired consistency. Serve.
